New My Hero Academia Episode Announcement

A highly anticipated new episode of My Hero Academia has been confirmed to air on May 2, 2026. This exciting announcement was made during Jump Festa 2026 on December 20. The episode, titled “More,” will adapt chapter 431 of the manga, an epilogue story crafted by Kohei Horikoshi, the series creator. This chapter is part of the final volume of the manga, which showcases the characters eight years after their graduation from U.A. High School, depicting Izuku Midoriya and his classmates as accomplished professional heroes.

Details of the Episode

This upcoming episode will be labeled as episode 170 + 1 and is part of the broader celebration of the My Hero Academia anime's 10th anniversary. The original TV adaptation premiered back in April 2016. To commemorate this announcement, a new visual has also been released, capturing the essence of the beloved characters in their evolved roles.

Concert Project Announcement

In addition to the new episode, the My Hero Academia franchise has also unveiled a concert project titled My Hero Academia in Concert. This concert will feature live performances of background music composed by Yuki Hayashi, the musical talent behind the series' soundtrack. Audiences can expect a selection of tracks from over 200 pieces that Hayashi has composed for the anime and its related films.

The concert is scheduled to kick off on May 30, 2026, at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall, with plans for additional performances in international locations. Tickets for the Japanese shows are already on sale, with details for international dates forthcoming.
