Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater's Fox Hunt Mode Won't Support Cross-Play
Konami has confirmed that the highly anticipated online Fox Hunt mode in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will not support cross-play capabilities.
This announcement follows the recent resurgence of interest in the Metal Gear franchise, particularly with the upcoming remake. Fans have expressed their disappointment, as cross-play is increasingly viewed as a standard feature that enhances multiplayer experiences. The Fox Hunt mode aims to rekindle the competitive spirit found in the original Metal Gear Online while introducing new gameplay elements.
As a critical part of the series' legacy, the multiplayer feature is expected to draw significant attention when it launches. However, the lack of cross-play may limit player engagement and online activity, an aspect that dedicated fans had hoped for.
