Mechanical Marie Anime Set to Premiere on October 5, 2025

Mechanical Marie anime premieres on October 5 with new cast unveiled.

The official website for the anime adaptation of Aki Akimoto's "Mechanical Marie" has revealed the show's second promotional video, additional cast members, and confirmed an October 5 debut.

New cast members joining the series include:

  • Saima Nakano as Bridget
  • Yō Taichi as Isabel
  • Shuntaro Hara as Toby
  • Kappei Yamaguchi as Old Man Carl
  • Rieko Takahashi as Old Lady Charlotte

The anime will first air on Tokyo MX at 10:00 p.m. on October 5, followed by YTV on October 6 and BS-Fuji on October 7. Additionally, it will be available for streaming on d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai starting on October 5 at 11:00 p.m. Crunchyroll will stream the series globally, excluding Asia but including India and its surrounding regions.

Leading the cast, we have:

  • Haruki Ishiya as Arthur
  • Ami Koshimizu as Marie-2
  • Chiaki Kobayashi as Noah
  • Yūichirō Umehara as Roy
  • Daishi Kajita as Maynard

Directed by Junji Nishimura at Zero-G and Liber, the series features scripts by Mariko Kunisawa and character designs by Yōko Kikuchi. The music is composed by Yasuharu Takanashi and Johannes Nilsson. The opening theme, "Honto to Uso" (Truth and Lies), will be performed by Harutya, while Nao Tōyama will sing the ending theme, "Cross Heart ~Itsuwari no Nai Kimochi" (Feelings With No Lies).

The plot centers around Marie, a former martial artist who now masquerades as a mechanical maid in the mansion of Arthur, an heir who harbors disdain for humans. If her secret is revealed, she faces certain doom! Each episode unfolds a blend of thrills and a budding romance as their identities collide. Initially launched as a one-shot in March 2020, the manga has since gained popularity and concluded with six volumes. A sequel titled "Mechanical Marie+" debuted in April 2023.
