Marvel Unveils Thrilling New Series at NYCC
Marvel made waves at the New York Comic Con (NYCC) with exciting announcements for its streaming series on Disney+. Head of Marvel Television and Marvel Animation, Brad Winderbaum, shared insights into upcoming projects, promising fans a packed slate.

X-Men '97
Winderbaum kicked off the panel by confirming that X-Men '97 is set to debut on Disney+ in summer 2026.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2
The first footage from Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 was showcased, featuring leads Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock and Kristen Ritter as Jessica Jones. In the trailer, romantic moments between Matt and Karen Page turn intense when Matt's senses react to an explosive incident. The footage also showed notable scenes, including:
- Missing person posters for Matt.
- Jessica Jones coming to his rescue.
- Wilson Fisk, now New York City’s Mayor, showcasing his ruthless nature.
- A surprise glimpse of Foggy Nelson, who met his demise in Season 1.
Wonder Man
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley presented the Wonder Man trailer, introducing Simon Williams—a struggling actor aiming for success in a superhero film. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, this eight-episode series premieres January 27, 2026.
VisionQuest
Winderbaum and star Paul Bettany revealed early footage from VisionQuest, exploring White Vision's journey after gaining memories of the late Red Vision, albeit without emotional ties. The original characters were reintroduced, including:
- Jarvis appearing as a human.
- AI characters like Friday and Edith also in human forms.
The footage ended with a shocking reveal of Ultron's return, played once more by James Spader but in a human form, along with the introduction of Tommy Maximoff, known as Speed in Marvel Comics. VisionQuest will also release on Disney+ in 2026.
