Marvel Tōkon: New Characters and Closed Beta Test Announced

Marvel Tōkon Expands its Roster

During Sony's "State of Play Japan" livestream, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls introduced two new playable characters: Spider-Man and Ghost Rider. This announcement comes alongside the confirmation of a second closed beta test for the PlayStation 5.

Second Closed Beta Test Details

The upcoming beta is scheduled for December 5-7, PST. Players can expect:

• 8 characters
• 3 arenas
• Offline CPU battles
• New online lobby avatars

Notably, features like spectator mode and rollback netcode from the initial test will also be included. The first closed beta was held from September 5-7.

Future Launch

Marvel Tōkon is set to officially launch for PS5, as well as on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, in 2026.
