Marvel Cosmic Invasion Welcomes Black Panther and Cosmic Ghost Rider

In an unexpected twist, the upcoming arcade-style beat 'em up game, MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, has announced that both Black Panther and Cosmic Ghost Rider will be playable characters. This exciting reveal comes through a newly released trailer by publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games, showcasing the unique animation that pays tribute to classic comic book art.

Cosmic Ghost Rider, a powerful version of the Punisher who made a pact for vengeance after witnessing Earth's decay under Thanos, will wield his Hell cycle, chains, and firearms in combat. Voice actor Brian Bloom is set to portray this iconic character.

On the other hand, Black Panther, donning his vibranium suit and equipped with sonic daggers, will leap into action as the formidable leader of Wakanda. James Mathis III returns as the voice of Black Panther, following his notable roles in various Marvel animated series.

The game centers around an unprecedented assault from the immortal Super Villain Annihilus, who threatens all forms of life across the universe. Heroes from both Earth and the cosmos must unite to combat this dire threat. Players can expect exhilarating side-scrolling combat, navigating exciting locales from New York City to the depths of the Negative Zone, while utilizing the innovative Cosmic Swap system to switch between characters mid-fight, capitalizing on their unique abilities.

Those who play will find an array of accessibility features, suitable for gamers of all ages, alongside four-player cooperative gameplay both online and locally. Previously announced playable characters include Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man, and others, totaling 15 unique fighters. The final two character reveals remain a mystery.
