Happinet has unveiled the second promotional video along with streaming details for the anime adaptation of Kuzushiro's manga, Egao no Taenai Shokuba Desu (A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace). The recently released video features the ending theme song "Thankful" performed by Sizuk.

The anime will commence streaming on several platforms including DMM TV, Lemino, U-NEXT, Anime Times, and Anime Hōdai on October 6 at 10:30 p.m. JST.

It will make its debut on television via the AT-X channel at 9:30 p.m. JST, followed by Tokyo MX at 10:00 p.m. JST and BS Asahi at 11:24 p.m. JST. Iwate Menkoi TV will air it starting October 12.

The direction is handled by Kaoru Suzuki, and Mio Inoue is responsible for the series scripts. Character designs are by Kana Miyai.

The story revolves around Nana Futami, a new shōjo manga artist, receiving support from her editor, Kaede Satō, and assistant, Mizuki Hazama. Despite facing daily challenges, including vivid delusions attributed to her profession, Nana continues her work surrounded by her supportive colleagues.

The manga first appeared as a one-shot in February 2019 and has been serialized since May 2019. Kodansha is set to release the 13th compiled volume on September 19.
