Latair the Earth Short Anime Set to Premiere on September 5

The upcoming short anime series, Latair the Earth, will debut on NHK Educational Television on September 5, 2025.

Earlier this year, CLASS EARTH announced that their picture book Latair and the Earth Saver: What Endangered Species Teach Us would receive an anime adaptation. The series will consist of five episodes and features beloved characters such as Latair, voiced by Yukari Tamura, and "Earth Saver" Kanade, voiced by Reo Tanie. Notably, Shoji Kawamori, known for his work on Macross, is serving as supervising producer, with character designs by French illustrator Thomas Romain based on his original illustrations.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the series, especially with the release of the official trailer on YouTube, which showcases the enchanting visuals and theme song as Latair and Kanade dance. This blend of animation and environmental education promises to resonate with audiences looking for meaningful storytelling.
