The official website for the original animation film Labyrinth (Meikyū no Shiori) unveiled a new trailer and visual recently. This trailer not only announces additional cast and staff members but also presents the film's theme song, "Sailor, Sail On," performed by the Atarashii Gakkō! pop group.

Cast Details

Alongside their performance, SUZUKA, a member of Atarashii Gakkō!, takes on the role of the protagonist Shiori Maezawa. The theme song’s music was composed by yonkey, known for crafting the group's signature piece "Otona Blue".

  • Shō Hayami as Keizō Maezawa, Shiori's distant father.
  • Maaya Sakamoto as Yoriko Maezawa, Shiori's mother.

About the Film

Labyrinth centers on Shiori Maezawa, an ordinary high school girl who enters a deserted parallel world following a malfunction with her smartphone. In this strange realm, she discovers mysterious photos on her social media, sparking a mission to prevent her other self from unraveling.

Shōji Kawamori, recognized for his work on Macross, directs this project, emphasizing themes of emotional storytelling intertwined with horror elements.

Linking creativity and tech, Kawamori's vision explores smartphones as extensions of ourselves, raising questions about personal data.
