Kyoto Animation has announced its plans to reveal a new anime project on October 25 during the upcoming "KyoAni no Sekai-ten" event. This two-day event is set to occur on October 25 and 26 at the Miyako Messe in Kyoto.

The highlight of the first day will be the "Kyoto Animation 2026 New Work Announcement Stage" presentation at 2:00 p.m. JST (1:00 a.m. EDT), where the main cast and creative team will be introduced.

Additionally, the event will showcase a lineup promo video featuring works from Kyoto Animation since 2018. Currently, the studio's series, CITY The Animation, is streaming globally on Amazon Prime Video, while the film Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved debuted in Japan on June 27 and will be shown in U.S. theaters starting October 20 through Crunchyroll.

Kyoto Animation is also working on the Sound! Euphonium project, with the first part of the film, Saishū Gakushō Hibike! Euphonium Zenpen, scheduled for release in spring 2026. This project will reportedly have two to three parts.
