
Upcoming Conclusion for 'Kimi no Nemureru Kaii no Kōsha' Manga Announced
Square Enix has revealed that the manga 'Kimi no Nemureru Kaii no Kōsha,' illustrated by Fumi Itō and based on Takuma Sakurai's light novel, will soon reach its conclusion. This announcement has generated excitement among fans eagerly awaiting the finale.
The digital publication of 'Kimi no Nemureru Kaii no Kōsha' debuted on Square Enix's Gangan Online platform in October 2023. The first collected volume was released on June 12, 2024, with the second volume scheduled for September 11, 2024. The original light novel that serves as its foundation was published by Kodansha in November 2022, showcasing Sakurai's engaging storytelling.
Takuma Sakurai is also recognized for the series 'Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned into a Pig,' published under Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko label since March 2020. This work garnered notable acclaim, winning the Gold Prize at the 26th Dengeki Novel Prize in 2019 and featuring illustrations by Asagi Tōsaka. Its manga adaptation, illustrated by Minami, has been serialized in Dengeki Maoh since August 2020.
'Butareba' further escalated its popularity through an anime adaptation that premiered in October 2023, consisting of 12 episodes. However, its finale was postponed, ultimately airing in February 2024. Both the light novel and manga versions are currently accessible in English through J-Novel Club.
