Kazusa Inaoka Announces New Manga Set for September Release
Kazusa Inaoka will launch a new manga titled *Ikenai Futari* on September 20, 2025.
The renowned mangaka Kazusa Inaoka, known for his previous work i tell c, has announced the creation of a new series tentatively titled Ikenai Futari (translated as The Two Who Don't Fit). The debut is slated for September 20, 2025, and will appear in the 19th issue of Shogakukan's Big Comic Original magazine.
The storyline centers around a man and a woman who, after promising to marry each other, find themselves unexpectedly living together. This setup promises to lead to an array of amusing situations, focusing on the dynamics of modern relationships.
Kazusa Inaoka concluded his last series, i tell c, in June 2021 after it was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump starting in February of the same year, culminating in three volumes that were subsequently released in English digitally by Viz Media and MANGA Plus. Prior to that, he launched Kimi wo Shinryakuseyo! (Invade You) in 2018 within Shonen Jump GIGA, moving later to Weekly Shonen Jump. However, that series also concluded in September of the same year.
With Ikenai Futari, Inaoka aims to diversify his storytelling approach by delving into relationship dynamics and the comedic aspects of cohabitation. The announcement has sparked significant excitement among fans, eagerly anticipating how the author will navigate this new genre.
