TOHO Animation has confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1 will premiere on January 8, 2026. Fans can catch the series airing on the "Super Animeism TURBO" programming block on MBS, TBS, and their affiliates.

Crunchyroll Exclusivity

In an exciting announcement, Crunchyroll will also stream the season on the same day globally, except for viewers in Asia. This ensures fans worldwide will have access to new episodes as they air in Japan.

Film Preview Featuring Key Characters

A preview has been released showcasing Kōji Yusa as Naoya Zen'in, a character also featured in the recent film Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution. This film, which includes highlights from the second season's Shibuya Incident arc alongside the first two episodes of Season 3, is now showing in Japanese theaters, including IMAX screens.

Star-Studded Voice Cast

The third season will feature the following voice actors:

• Junya Enoki as Yuji Itadori
• Yūma Uchida as Megumi Fushiguro
• Daisuke Namikawa as Choso
• Megumi Ogata as Yuta Okkotsu

Production Team Insights

Returning to direct the series is Shōta Goshozono, known for his work on JUJUTSU KAISEN: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death – The Movie. He will be supported by script supervisor Hiroshi Seko and animation directors Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa. The musical score will be composed by Yoshimasa Terui.

Previous Seasons Recap

The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen premiered in October 2020 and featured 24 episodes. Further, the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film, released in Japan in December 2021, expanded the franchise's reach internationally, debuting in theatres across North America in March 2022. The current season aired from July 2023, integrating arcs from the manga written by Gege Akutami.
