SNK Unveils Joe Higashi as Playable Character

At EVO France, SNK has officially released Joe Higashi as a playable character in the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves game. This exciting addition is part of the game's Season Pass 1.

New Characters and Upcoming Releases

Joe Higashi is the third DLC character introduced, following Ken and Chun-Li from the Street Fighter series, with Chun-Li slated to arrive in winter 2025. The Season Pass also features MR. BIG, expected to launch in early 2026.

The game launched on April 24, 2025, and is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Initially released with Ken as a playable character on August 3, it also includes a variety of classic favorites and new additions:

• Returning Characters: Terry Bogard, Rock Howard, Tizoc, Hotaru Futaba
• New Characters: Preecha and Vox Reaper

SNK's Fatal Fury Franchise
Fatal Fury, known in Japan as Garō Densetsu, is SNK's iconic fighting game franchise. It debuted in arcades in 1991 with Fatal Fury: King of Fighters, and has become a staple in the gaming community. This franchise has inspired several adaptations, including three OVAs released in the 1990s.

Kizuna Encounter: Super Tag Battle Launch

Moreover, SNK has also launched Kizuna Encounter: Super Tag Battle on Steam. This modern upgrade of the classic 1996 arcade game includes:

• Rollback Netcode for smooth online play
• Practice Mode with customizable features
• Return of eight classic characters and two new fighters, Rosa and Kim
