JO1 Unveils Music Video for AS ONE Anime Movie Theme Song

Japanese boy band JO1 has formally released the music video for “Meguriboshi,” the theme song of the upcoming sci-fi anime film AS ONE. The song, performed by member Ruki Shiroiwa, who also voices the male lead Yoh, showcases a blend of captivating visuals and an engaging melody.

Set to be released in Japan on August 22, 2025, AS ONE serves as a prequel to Square Enix's arcade game Starwing Paradox. Directed by Kobun Shizuno, known for the Detective Conan film series, the film also features character design by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (Neon Genesis Evangelion). The storyline follows high school student Yoh as he navigates aspirations of becoming a musician amid familial pressures, culminating in a fantastical encounter in a parallel world.
