Hollow Knight: Silksong, the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning action-adventure title Hollow Knight, is making its way to players on September 4. Developed by Team Cherry, the game will be accessible on multiple platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC through Steam, GOG, Humble Store, and the Microsoft Store. Excitingly, it will also be available via Game Pass.

In this new adventure, players step into the role of Hornet, the princess-protector of Hallownest, as she journeys through a captivating kingdom ruled by silk and song. After being captured and taken to this unfamiliar land, Hornet must battle a range of foes and solve intricate mysteries in her quest to ascend to the kingdom’s peak.

Hollow Knight: Silksong invites players to explore diverse environments, including coral forests, misted moors, and gilded cities, while showcasing a range of new powers and combat capabilities. It features a rich gameplay experience filled with over 150 new enemies, from beasts to knights, each requiring skill and bravery to defeat.

Furthermore, players can look forward to engaging quests that involve hunting rare beasts, uncovering ancient mysteries, and restoring hope to the downtrodden. With the return of composer Christopher Larkin, the game promises an evocative orchestral score that enhances the immersive experience. Once players complete the main adventure, they can test their skills in a new mode called Silk Soul, which offers a unique challenge.

With its blend of action, exploration, and rich storytelling, Hollow Knight: Silksong is poised to captivate audiences once again.
