HIDIVE Unveils English Dub Cast for "Rock is a Lady's Modesty," Debuting September 17

HIDIVE recently revealed exciting news for fans of the anime "Rock is a Lady's Modesty" (Rock wa Lady no Tashinamideshite). The English dub will officially launch on September 17 at 1:00 p.m. EDT, coinciding with a special screening scheduled for this year's Anime NYC event on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

The dub features a talented lineup of voice actors, including Luci Christian as Lilisa, Natalie Rial as Otoha, and Annie Wild as Tamaki, among others. John Swasey directs the English adaptation, with Marta Bechtol handling the ADR script and Brent Marshall overseeing the English mix.

The anime, which premiered on April 3 on TBS and its affiliate channels, follows the journey of Lilisa Suzunomiya, a girl who adjusts to life as the daughter of a real estate tycoon. Initially abandoning her passion for rock music to fit into her new affluent world, she finds her love for music reignited after meeting a skilled drummer at her all-girls' school.

The original manga by Hiroshi Fukuda debuted in October 2022, with subsequent volumes published, including the eighth volume set for release on August 29.
