Thirdverse, known for hits like Soul Covenant and X8, has unveiled Hello Kitty Skyland, a social virtual reality game that will be available for Quest and other major VR platforms. Aiming for an Early Access release in late 2025, this free-to-play game invites players into the vibrant world where beloved Sanrio characters reside.

In SKYLAND, players from all over the globe can engage in a variety of unique activities and interactions. Experience immersive encounters with Sanrio characters and enjoy multiplayer gameplay featuring hand controls. Players also have the opportunity to craft items and customize their personal spaces and avatars, adding to the game's charm.

A standout feature is the introduction of two distinct avatar styles: a customizable humanoid for personal expression, and a dynamic style aimed at enhancing movement and interaction within the virtual space. Players can switch between these avatars easily, encouraging both communication and action.

Masaru Ohnogi, the CEO of Thirdverse and producer of this project, previously managed the successful avatar service TinierMe, which attracted millions of users. Now, he merges his experience with the captivating world of Hello Kitty, creating a truly immersive virtual reality experience.

Players can now apply for the Creator Program, as the studio prepares for the launch of this groundbreaking VR game.
