Gungrave GORE Blood Heat: A Fully Reimagined Gaming Experience

In a thrilling announcement at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, Xbox unveiled that the game Gungrave G.O.R.E will be reimagined as Gungrave GORE Blood Heat. This new version promises a comprehensive overhaul with a modernized game engine and improved visual fidelity.

Originally launched in November 2022 for platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Gungrave GORE has been well-received, leading to this exciting upgrade. The upcoming title aims to offer players enhanced gameplay dynamics, featuring new systems and exclusive characters.

The game’s release will extend beyond Xbox consoles, as it will also make its way to PlayStation 5 and PC users via Steam and the Microsoft Store.

Veteran game director Yasuhiro Nightow has returned to lend his expertise, ensuring that the game's artistic vision is retained. Under the development of Iggymob using Unreal Engine 4, the team aims for a quality that surpasses the previous Gungrave VR experience. With a soundtrack composed by Tetsuya Shibata and Yoshino Aoki, fans can expect a rich auditory experience.

Gungrave VR had previously debuted in December 2018, marking a venture into virtual reality for the franchise. Both digital and physical copies of the games have been made available, appealing to collectors and gaming enthusiasts alike.
