Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time anime gets a second season.
The official website for Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time, the TV anime based on Kogitsunemaru's light novel series, has announced a second season. Celebrating this news, illustrator Tarō Sasakama shared a special image. The first season debuted on January 1 and was streamed by Crunchyroll, including an English dub.
Directed by Naoyuki Kuzuya and featuring scripts by Mitsutaka Hirota, the series is produced by Studio Comet. Character designs were done by Sayaka Anesaki, while music was composed by Hiroshi Nakamura.
Kogitsunemaru began the light novel series on AlphaPolis' website in 2017, with the first volume published in February 2018. The novels have achieved popularity, winning the Reader Award at AlphaPolis' Fantasy Shōsetsu Award in 2017.
The manga adaptation, illustrated by Tarō Sasakama, started in August 2018, with English versions released digitally through AlphaPolis. The story follows Takumi Iruma, an ordinary individual who accidentally finds himself among heroes summoned to another world, where he inadvertently gains a powerful alchemical skill.
