Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou Anime Premieres in 2026

Upcoming Anime Premiere
The official site for the anime adaptation of Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou (Daily Lives of Torture Part-Time Job), by Yawora Tsugumi, has announced new production details. The series is set to premiere on January 7, 2026, on Tokyo MX, followed by airings on BS Asahi, Ehime Broadcasting, and Yomiuri TV.
Production Team
The anime will be directed by Fumitoshi Oizaki, known for other works such as Gorilla no Kami kara Kago sareta Reijou wa Ouritsu Kishidan de Kawaigarareru. Hitomi Amamiya will oversee the series composition, while Sakae Shibuya, who worked on Deaimon, is in charge of character design. Animation will be produced by Diomedéa.
Cast and Music
The main cast includes:
- Kishou Taniyama as Hera
- Rikuya Yasuda as Noe
Musically, the duo GRANRODEO, known for their work on Baki, will perform the opening theme titled GO GO PARADISE!!. Voice actor Takuma Terashima, recognized from Isekai Mokushiroku Mynoghra, will provide the ending theme Ashita Tenki ni Naare.
The first promotional video offers a sneak peek into the opening theme and showcases comedic moments featuring the characters in the torture department, emphasizing the absurd humor that defines the series.
Manga Background
The original manga by Yawora Tsugumi began serialization in December 2022 on Manga Park and Young Animal Web. The sixth compiled volume was released on June 27, achieving circulation of over 350,000 copies.
