Gigguk's Bâan -The Boundaries of Adulthood- to Debut on YouTube September 20
Anime influencer Gigguk's short film will launch September 20
Gigguk, a prominent figure in the anime community, has announced that his anticipated short film Bâan -The Boundaries of Adulthood- will premiere on his YouTube channel on September 20, 2025. The release will coincide with a celebratory launch party on his Twitch channel. The film, co-produced by GeeXProductions, has already made its theatrical debut in Tokyo.
The English dub will feature Sydney Poniewaz as Rin and Aleks Le as Daichi, with Connor Colquhoun serving as the ADR Director and Diana Garnett as the English localization producer. The film's narrative explores the journeys of two protagonists: Arai Daichi, a 21-year-old struggling with family conflicts who longs to escape to the fictional world of Euthania, and Rinrada Ratchamanee, a 19-year-old Euthanian seeking to connect with Japan.
Set against the backdrop of Euthania—a realm inspired by Thai and Southeast Asian mythology—the film promises a blend of fantasy elements and emotional depth. Directed by Yoshimitsu Ōhashi, known for works such as Galaxy Angel and Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, the film's musical score will be composed by Kevin Penkin, recognized for his work in Made in Abyss and The Rising of The Shield Hero. Alongside the English dub, viewers will also have access to a behind-the-scenes feature on the day of the launch.
Excited to also announce that Bâan will be premiering WORLDWIDE on my YouTube channel on the 20th September!
