Exciting Cast and Visuals Unveiled for 'Gals Can’t Be Kind to Otaku!?' Anime

The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Norishiro-chan and Sakana Uozumi's Gals Can’t Be Kind to Otaku!? has officially unveiled its cast, staff, key visual, and a teaser trailer.

Behind the Scenes

Shin Mita is at the helm of direction at TMS Entertainment's Studio No. 6. The script is penned by Kazuhiko Inukai, known for titles such as Hokuto no Ken and Bakugan Battle Planet. Rion Matsuda is tasked with character design and acting as chief animation director. Music composition will be overseen by Kō Satō.

Manga Synopsis

The manga follows Takuya Seo, an otaku who unexpectedly interacts with Kei Amane and Kotoko Ijichi, girls from different social circles. A simple incident involving a borrowed eraser leads to intriguing revelations about anime fandom.

The manga was originally launched in Coamix's Monthly Comic Zenon in August 2021, with the 11th volume released on October 20 by Yen Press.
