Get Ready: *Frieren: Beyond Journey's End* 2nd Season Launches Soon!

The highly anticipated 2nd season of the anime adaptation of Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe's manga, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (Sōsō no Frieren), is set to debut on January 16, 2025. The series will air again in NTV's "Friday Anime Night" block at 11:00 p.m. JST.

This season will see Tomoya Kitagawa take on the role of director, with Keiichirō Saitō providing director support. Daiki Harashina will serve as the assistant director. Tomohiro Suzuki, who worked on the series composition in the first season, will return for the second season. The character design team includes Takasemaru, Keisuke Kojima, and Yuri Fujinaka, replacing Reiko Nagasawa.

Madhouse will continue to animate, with Evan Call returning to compose the score.

The original story explores the life of Frieren, an elf mage grappling with the concept of mortality as she aims to fulfill the last wishes of her comrades. The manga, launched in April 2020, has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, reflecting its immense popularity.

For viewers outside Asia, Crunchyroll will stream the 2nd season, continuing the anime's global reach. Fans eagerly await the continuation of Frieren's journey as she embarks on new adventures, navigating the challenges of life and friendship.
