Legendary creator Frank Miller is bringing his signature edge to the Spawn Universe with a new variant cover for The Curse of Sherlee Johnson #3, arriving this September from Image Comics. Written by Daniel Henriques with art by Jonathan Glapion, the horror series follows the tragic spirit of Sherlee Johnson — first seen in Spawn #5 — as she navigates a nightmarish afterlife. Issue #3 sees Sherlee and the Stranger survive a devastating encounter, only to face ancient threats and buried truths as celestial forces close in.

The release will feature a main cover by Glapion, a variant by Henriques, and an inked Miller cover that promises his trademark grit. Spawn creator Todd McFarlane called working with Miller “like being a giddy kid again,” while Henriques described the collaboration as a career highlight. Fans can expect a uniquely dark and haunting chapter in the expanding Spawn mythos when the issue hits shelves.
