Happinet has officially announced the television anime adaptation of “The Food Diary of Miss Maid”, based on Susumu Maeya's popular manga, slated for an April 2026 premiere. To mark the occasion, they released a charming visual featuring the main character, Suzume, enjoying a delightful Chun-man bun.

The series will feature:

• Kana Ichinose as Suzume Tachibana
• Chihiro Sunou as Ricotta Fresca
• Maki Kawase as Nana Komatsu

Ryousuke Senbo, known for his work on “Yōkai Watch”, will direct the anime at EMT Squared and Magic Bus, while Natsuko Takahashi and Saeka Fujimoto will oversee the series scripts. Character designs will be handled by Chiaki Abe, and music composition is by Katsutoshi Kitagawa of ROUND TABLE.

The manga has been serialized since December 2019 on Kodansha's Comic Days website, with the fourth compiled volume published in March 2022. Kodansha USA also released this fourth volume digitally in February 2023, expanding its accessibility to English-speaking audiences.
