The new Fist of the North Star anime is gearing up for a big reveal. On September 13, 2025, fans will finally learn who will voice Jagi, Toki, and Raoh in the highly anticipated reboot.
Livestream Event Details
Warner Bros. Japan Anime will host a special livestream titled It’s Fist of the North Star DAY! Gather Around, All Four Brothers!!. The event will stream on the Warner Bros. Japan Anime YouTube channel at:
12:00 p.m. JST on September 13
8:00 p.m. PT on September 12
Shunsuke Takeuchi, already confirmed as the new voice of Kenshiro, will appear during the broadcast. The remaining three “brothers” of the Hokuto Shinken saga will be announced live.
Why September 13?
In Japan, September 13 is officially recognized as “Fist of the North Star Day.” The date commemorates the debut of the original manga on September 13, 1983.
This year’s celebration doubles as a major cast announcement, adding even more excitement for longtime fans.
New Anime Coming in 2026
The upcoming series is scheduled to premiere in 2026, reintroducing one of manga’s most iconic stories to a new generation.
Created by writer Buronson and artist Tetsuo Hara, Fist of the North Star originally ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1983 to 1988, spanning 27 volumes. Over the years, it has inspired:
