Fallout Season 2: New Trailer Teases Vegas Civil War
Prime Video has unveiled an exciting new trailer and poster for Fallout Season 2, setting the scene for an intense civil war in the New Vegas Wastelands as Lucy (Ella Purnell) embarks on a quest to find her father.
With the highly anticipated return less than a month away, this trailer showcases:
- Action-packed sequences
- Mutated creatures
- Exciting cast additions including Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin
- Thrilling storylines unfolding in the wastelands' horizon.
The upcoming season will continue from the dramatic finale of Season 1, guiding viewers through the post-apocalyptic Mojave and into the heart of New Vegas. Notably, Justin Theroux has been cast as Robert House, a significant figure who has thrived in the aftermath of the nuclear apocalypse, subtly controlling affairs in New Vegas.
The new sneak peek dives into the relationship between Lucy (Purnell) and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins), further uncovering their pursuit of Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan) amidst the chaotic landscape of New Vegas. It also addresses how the remaining characters are coping post the Season 1 conclusion.
Produced by Kilter Films, the show is led by executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, together with Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner as showrunners. To date, Fallout has garnered over 100 million viewers globally, solidifying its position as one of Prime Video's top three most-watched series.
Based on the celebrated video game saga, Fallout explores themes of wealth disparities in a world left in ruins. Two centuries after the apocalypse, former inhabitants of opulent fallout shelters venture back to an irradiated earth only to find an eccentric, dangerous universe awaiting them.
Fallout Season 2 is set to premiere on December 17, with a total of eight episodes released weekly until the season finale on February 4, 2026. The new season will be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and regions worldwide.
