Several cast members from the upcoming "Street Fighter" reboot have taken to social media to share new behind-the-scenes photos from the set. Following a silhouetted tease of WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes' depiction as Guile and the first glimpse of Noah Centineo suited up as Ken Masters, fans are eagerly anticipating the film. The latest photos showcase a number of cast members, including Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Andrew Koji as Ryu, and Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki. However, it is Orville Peck who stands out as the notorious villain Vega, sporting the character's signature blonde hair and snake tattoo, though it remains uncertain if this is the final mask he will wear, given Peck's penchant for face coverings in public.

Vega, introduced as one of the bosses in 1991's "Street Fighter II," is known for his conceited and sadistic demeanor, often portrayed as the right-hand man of Shadaloo leader M. Bison, played by David Dastmalchian in the reboot. The film also features notable talents like Jason Momoa and Roman Reigns, with Reigns rumored to portray the villainous Akuma, who has a dark history with Ryu and Ken’s mentor Gouken. Meanwhile, Momoa is expected to step into the role of the wildly popular character Blanka.

While numerous characters have come and gone in the "Street Fighter" franchise over the years, Ryu and his rival Ken Masters have consistently remained at the forefront. Their unique moves, such as the Dragon Punch and the "Hadoken" fireball, are staples in the gaming community. Capcom's "Street Fighter" series has earned its place as one of the most beloved fighting game franchises, yet has struggled with live-action adaptations in the past. The 1994 film featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme has garnered a cult following but is generally viewed unfavorably, while 2009's "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" is often dismissed.

Details about this latest adaptation remain sparse, leaving fans curious about whether it can break the pattern of previous misfires. Directed by Kitao Sakurai, known for his work on "The Eric Andre Show," this reboot aims to revive the series' cinematic legacy, though not all casting choices have sparked optimism among fans.
