Fans of Nimo Gotō's beloved gag comedy, Everyday Host, are in for a treat as a sequel for the short anime has been officially green-lit. The announcement was made during a fan appreciation festival held on Saturday, although specific details regarding the format of the sequel remain under wraps.

Gotō expressed his enthusiasm about the continuation of the Everyday Host series, hinting at new adventures for the audience. The original anime follows the quirky life of Sekiguchi, a former businessman turned host at "Club One," who is surrounded by a colorful cast of coworkers, including:
- A younger-brother-type host with over 20 years of experience
- A former idol navigating the hosting world
- A socially-game obsessed rough host
The first anime, which premiered on April 4, captivated viewers for two cours and featured notable voice actors such as:
- Hiro Shimono as Kōichi
- Taku Yashiro as Hajime
- Tasuku Hatanaka as Ryōichi
- Nobuhiko Okamoto as Senichi
Directed by Rarecho and produced at Fanworks studio, the original series has left a significant mark on its audience.
Manga Background
The Everyday Host manga began as a four-panel comic published on Gotō's personal site, Nico Nico, and on pixiv comics in July 2020. The compiled volumes are published by Kadokawa, with the fourth and fifth volumes released digitally under the Asuka Comics DX label in December 2024.
