Big Updates for Dragon Ball FighterZ
Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed exciting new updates for the popular game, Dragon Ball FighterZ. Announced during the EVO France 2025 event, players can anticipate the inclusion of a new DLC character, Goku (Super Saiyan 4, Daima), scheduled to launch in spring 2026.
Balance Update Coming Soon
In addition to the new character, October 12 marks the arrival of a significant balance update, aiming to enhance gameplay experience and character performance.
Game Launch Information
Dragon Ball FighterZ was initially launched in January 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam) in the Americas and Europe, followed by its Japanese debut in February 2018. The game later reached Nintendo Switch in September 2018. A Deluxe Edition was released in January 2019, featuring previously available DLC characters including Broly and Vegito Blue. Notably, the game surpassed 10 million units shipped, making it the fastest in the Dragon Ball franchise.
Furthermore, the game was digitally launched for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with rollback netcode in February 2024.
The franchise continues to thrive with the recent release of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero in October 2024, which offers several collector's editions for dedicated fans.
