Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary Fest

The beloved Dragon Ball franchise is set to host the Dragon Ball Genkidama Matsuri (Spirit Bomb Festival) to commemorate its 40th anniversary. This exciting event will take place at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba Prefecture on January 25, 2026.

Special Guests and Events

Renowned voice actress Masako Nozawa, known for voicing Son Goku, will make a special appearance during the festival. She will participate in two stage events scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. along with Akio Iyoku, the executive producer of Dragon Ball. Additionally, a third stage event featuring a live performance by Hironobu Kageyama is set for 5:30 p.m.

Ticket Information

While entry to the festival is free, fans must enter a drawing to obtain tickets. The drawing process consists of two rounds:

• First Round: October 17 - November 3, with winners announced on November 7.
• Second Round: November 7 - November 30, with winners announced on December 4.

Tickets are available for various entry slots and each applicant can enter for up to two tickets per timeslot. Registration as a LAWSON Ticket member is required to participate in the ticket drawing.
