New Trailer for 2026 Doraemon Film Released

The creative team behind the highly anticipated 2026 Doraemon film, titled Eiga Doraemon: Shin Nobita no Kaitei Kiganjō (Doraemon: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil), has released a new trailer. The trailer unveils the film's theme song 'Honto' performed by the rock band sumika.

Film Details

Scheduled for its premiere in Japan on February 27, 2026, the film is a remake of the classic 1983 edition, Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil.

Character Voice Cast

• Shōya Chiba voices the character El, a soldier from the Mu Federation who monitors Doraemon and his friends.
• Ryō Hirohashi lends his voice to the Mizunaka Buggy (Underwater Buggy), one of Doraemon's ingenious gadgets.

Behind the Scenes

Directed by Tetsuo Yajima, known for his work on several Pokémon films, the movie also features a screenplay by Isao Murayama, a veteran of the Doraemon television series.
