The demon-hunting adventure continues as Netflix confirmed the global premiere of the highly anticipated second season of the animated series Devil May Cry. Slated to launch on May 12, 2026, this announcement follows the first season's successful reception.

Season 1

The inaugural season premiered on April 3, 2026, featuring eight episodes. It quickly captured viewers’ attention, debuting at number 4 on Netflix's global Top 10 list and amassing 5.3 million views within its first three days. The series entered the top 10 rankings in 87 countries.

Voice Cast

Devil May Cry retains its star-studded cast for both English and Japanese versions:

• Johnny Yong Bosch and Toshiyuki Morikawa return as Dante.
• Hiroaki Hirata lends his voice to Vergil in Japanese.
• Fumiko Orikasa (Japanese) and Scout Taylor-Compton (English) voice Lady (Mary).
• The English version also features a posthumous performance by the legendary Kevin Conroy.

Producer Adi Shankar, who acquired the rights in 2018, mentioned that this series joins Castlevania in what he terms his 'bootleg multiverse.' Notably, the series also showcases a dynamic soundtrack, featuring tracks like Rollin' by Limp Bizkit in the opening sequence along with themes from Evanescence.
