'Debu to Love to Ayamachi to!' Cast and Theme Revealed

The official website for the Debu to Love to Ayamachi to! (Plus-sized Misadventures in Love!) television anime revealed additional cast, opening theme, a key visual (pictured), and the second promotional video on Thursday. The television anime will premiere on October 6 at 11:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by Sun TV, BS Fuji, ABC TV, Hokkaido Television Broadcasting, and other networks.

• Yutaka Shigemori: Takuya Eguchi (Spy x Family)
• Masahiko Hosoi: Eiji Takeuchi (Hinamatsuri)
• Motoki Minami: Junichi Suwabe (Bleach)
• Shunzaburou Tanigawa: Shouya Chiba (Ao no Hako)

Idol group GANG PARADE (Boku to Roboko) will perform the opening theme song “Happy Yummy Lucky Yummy,” which is featured in the promotional video below.

Kazuomi Koga (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) is directing the anime at Marvy Jack. Aya Watatane is handling the series composition and script. Atsuko Takahashi (Ame-iro Cocoa) is designing the characters. Satoshi Houno (Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de) and Kaori Nakano (Clockwork Planet) are composing the music.

The anime adapts Mamakari's romantic comedy manga which began serializing in Koisuru Soirée magazine in August 2019. Solmare Henshuubu shipped the 13th volume on June 6. The company also publishes the manga in English through the MangaPlaza website.
