The series will feature Jimmy Olsen, reprised by Skyler Gisondo, who originated the role in James Gunn’s recent summer blockbuster. The first season promises to focus on the notorious DC villain Gorilla Grodd, a character with psychic abilities resulting from an encounter with an alien spaceship. Grodd, known for his confrontations with The Flash, has been part of DC lore since his creation in 1959.

Behind the Scenes

Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault, creators of Netflix’s acclaimed series American Vandal, will be at the helm, assuming roles as writers, executive producers, and showrunners for DC Crime. Additionally, James Gunn and Peter Safran from DC Studios will serve as executive producers, with Galen Vaisman overseeing production.
