
Dark Moon: The Blood Altar Anime Unveils Cast and January 2026 Release

The Aniplex Online Fest event recently showcased key details for the upcoming anime adaptation of HYBE and ENHYPEN's webtoon, Dark Moon: The Blood Altar. Scheduled to debut in January 2026, the anime features an impressive cast:
- Kikunosuke Toya as Heli
- Shugo Nakamura as Jino
- Shunichi Toki as Shion
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Noa
- Hiroto Shimizu as Jaan
- Jin Ogasawara as Solon
- Yūto Uemura as Jukah
- Fūka Izumi as Sooha
Shōko Shiga will direct the series at TROYCA, with Tōko Machida supervising the scripts and Masami Inomata handling character design. Naoki "naotyu-" Chiba will compose the music, and Takatoshi Hamano is the sound director.
Yen Press has licensed the Dark Moon series, which combines urban fantasy with teen romance, highlighting the interactions among vampires, werewolves, and a girl harboring a significant secret. This tale offers a fresh take on youthful friendships and romance. The webtoon has featured members from the South Korean group ENHYPEN. Fans in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS can anticipate streaming on Crunchyroll. After its launch in English in January 2022, the webtoon concluded with its 71st chapter in October 2023, with an original novel set to be released in print by Ize Press on December 2.
