Dark Horse Launches Ongoing Masters of the Universe Comic Series

New Series Announcement

Dark Horse Comics has announced the expansion of its current miniseries, Masters of the Universe: The Sword of Flaws, into a monthly ongoing series titled He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. This transition begins with issue #5, set to release after the conclusion of the current story arc.

Upcoming Storylines

The new storyline, The Battle of Snake Mountain, will kick off with the upcoming issue. While this comic series will not align with the continuity of the anticipated live-action film, it holds the potential for future connections if the series continues long-term.

Creative Team

Writer Tim Seeley continues his role, joined by a talented artistic team including Reilly Brown and Jim Charalampadis. The new edition promises vibrant art and engaging storytelling.

Movie Release

Fans can look forward to an exciting year ahead with the new live-action movie scheduled for June 5, 2026. Major characters include Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man and Camila Mendes as Teela, among others. The film follows a grown-up Prince Adam, who must defend his home planet Eternia from Skeletor after rediscovering his Power Sword.
