Dark Horse unveils Kentarō Miura's Dur-an-ki manga for release.

Dark Horse Comics has exclusively presented an exciting preview of the upcoming English release of Dur-an-ki, created by Kentarō Miura and Studio Gaga. The publication will be available in one paperback volume, featuring bonus content that showcases Miura's creative process, including the original story outline and concept illustrations. This highly anticipated manga will hit bookstores and comic shops on September 23.

Dur-an-ki tells the tale of a remarkable child, Usumgal, born of the gods and possessing an inventive mind that offers solutions where needed. This enchanting character embarks on a journey from a holy mountain, seeking friendship among humans and encountering various adventures that may shape their destiny.

Originally launched in Young Animal Zero in September 2019, the series came to an end following Miura's passing in May 2021. Following the decision made by the editors of Young Animal Zero and Studio Gaga, the compiled volume was released in December 2021 with new design features.

Kentarō Miura tragically passed away from acute aortic dissection on May 6, 2021, at the age of 54. Fans can also look forward to other works from Miura, as Dark Horse continues to publish his iconic series, Berserk.
