The twelfth compiled volume of Haruka Mitsui's "Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You" announced on August 12 that the story is entering its final phase. Set against the backdrop of 2020, the manga follows Mizuha, whose seventeenth birthday takes an unexpected turn as she grapples with personal disappointments and the effects of a global pandemic. Just as her social life is disrupted, her childhood friend admits feelings for her, prompting a deeper exploration of her own emotions.

Released by Kodansha USA Publishing, the manga has been serialized in Nakayoshi since October 2020. The ninth volume was made available digitally on February 25, with a physical release planned for December 30. An anime adaptation premiered on January 9, streaming internationally on Crunchyroll, which is also set to release an English dub. Fans can look forward to a second season slated for next year, heightening excitement as the manga reaches its conclusion.
