
Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle Set to Debut on October 7
Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle anime premieres October 7, 2025.
The official website for the anime adaptation of Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle has unveiled a main promotional video, introducing additional cast members and the theme song details. The series is set to air for two cours with a break in between, beginning on October 7 across various networks including AT-X, Tokyo MX, and BS11.
The anime features the opening theme song "Liar" performed by Kucci and the ending theme "Kagerō (Heat Haze)" by Cider Girl. The trailer previews both songs. Notable cast members include:
- Shōgo Sakata as Saku Chitose
- Manaka Iwami as Yuko Hiiragi
- Hina Yomiya as Yua Uchida
- Ikumi Hasegawa as Yuzuki Nanase
- Rumi Ōkubo as Haru Aomi

The anime is directed by Yūji Tokuno, with scripts supervised by Naruhisa Arakawa and character designs by Sumie Kinoshita. The story follows Saku Chitose, a high-achieving student at Fujishi High School, who faces the challenge of helping a withdrawn classmate return to school, setting off a poignant coming-of-age narrative.
Originally debuted in June 2019, the light novel series by Hiromu and raemz has captivated readers, with the ninth volume released in August 2024. Yen Press is handling the release of both the light novels and the manga in North America, with a digital publication ongoing through Manga UP! Global.
