Maximum The Hormone’s Song Set for Chainsaw Man Movie
Chainsaw Man: The Movie reveals exciting new music details.
The film adaptation of Chainsaw Man, focusing on the Reze Arc, has announced that the rock band Maximum The Hormone will feature their song "Hawatari Nioku Centi" as an insert track. This version will be a 70% unredacted edit, differing from the shorter 90-second version that appeared in the anime during episode 3. The longer version has been held back until now, as parts of the lyrics relate directly to the character Reze.
As fans eagerly await the film, they'll be treated to an illustration pamphlet by the manga's creator, Tatsuki Fujimoto, available in theaters. Sony Pictures Entertainment will handle the film's worldwide rights, releasing it in the U.S. and U.K. on October 29. Earlier screenings will occur in over 80 other countries starting September 24, with Japan's release set for September 19.
The film stars Reina Ueda as Reze and includes a notable staff:
- Director: Tatsuya Yoshihara
- Screenwriter: Hiroshi Seko
- Character Designer: Kazutaka Sugiyama
- Music Composer: Kensuke Ushio
Additionally, Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada will perform the film's ending theme "JANE DOE" and Yonezu will also contribute to the main theme "IRIS OUT." Fans can find more information on the series through Crunchyroll, which streams the anime globally.
