Kenshi Yonezu, who previously contributed music to the anime series, expressed his enthusiasm about working with Utada, describing their collaboration as a harmonious blend of their contrasting styles. He shared that he instinctively knew Utada was the perfect fit for the song as it developed. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is set to premiere in Japan in September, with an international release starting September 24, and a U.S. release by Sony Pictures on October 29.
