Chained Soldier 2 Anime Launches January 2026 with Trailer

Pony Canyon announced the first trailer for the second season of the television anime adaptation of Chained Soldier (Mato Seihei no Slave), revealing a January 2026 premiere date. The trailer features the voice of the character Mira Kamiunten, with additional cast details set to be revealed later.

The upcoming season introduces new staff, including director Masafumi Tamura, previously associated with anime like The World's Finest Assassin and Wise Man's Grandchild, now at studio Passione and Hayabusa Film. Character design will be handled by Keiya Nakano.

Set in a fantastical world plagued by demons, the story follows Yūki Wakura who encounters Uzen Kyōka, a girl endowed with powers from a mystical peach tree. The series is based on the manga by Takahiro and Yōhei Takemura, which began serialization on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ in January 2019.
