The highly anticipated anime "Potion, Waga Mi wo Tasukeru" has confirmed its lead voice cast, featuring Kaede Hondo and Takeo Otsuka in pivotal roles. Set to premiere in October 2025, the series follows Kaede, an ordinary high school girl thrust into a mysterious world filled with beastmen, elves, and dragons.
Kaede Hondo, known for her role as Sakura Minamoto in "ZOMBIE LAND SAGA," voices the titular character, Kaede. She expressed her excitement about the project, highlighting the character's extensive dialogue and her eagerness for fans to enjoy the series. Meanwhile, Takeo Otsuka, recognized for his performance in "OKITSURA: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl," brings to life Asuru, a dragon hunter who aids Kaede on her journey.
The anime adaptation is produced by Animation ID as part of their "Light Anime" series, with Mikiko Furukawa directing and Yuichi Imaizumi handling sound direction.
