In a surprise announcement during the September 2025 Nintendo Direct, Capcom revealed that three Resident Evil games will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2. The titles include Resident Evil Requiem, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and Resident Evil Village, all set to launch on February 27, 2026.

While Biohazard and Village have been popular among players for years, the Direct showcased new gameplay footage for Requiem, which will also be released on other platforms simultaneously. The official description for Requiem teases a unique horror experience set in a devastated Raccoon City, featuring classic elements like intense combat, intricate puzzles, and resource scarcity.

Although the release is still months away, Capcom has hinted there will be more exciting details shared as the date approaches. All three games promise a thrilling experience for fans of the series. As the countdown begins to their release next year, the gaming community eagerly anticipates more updates. Explore everything revealed in the September 2025 Nintendo Direct for more insights on this upcoming adventure.
