The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses Manga Wraps Up in 8 Chapters

In the latest news from Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine, it has been confirmed that Kouji Seo's manga The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses (Megami no Café Terrace) will conclude in just eight chapters. Released in February 2021, the story follows Hayato, who plans to sell his late grandmother's rundown café on the coast. However, he finds himself intertwined with five young women who consider the café their home. Faced with the task of revitalizing the café, Hayato navigates both challenges and comedic moments with these assertive characters.

Kodansha USA Publishing is handling the English release of this romcom, known for its engaging plot and character dynamics. The 21st compiled volume is set for release on October 17, 2025.

The series has also been adapted into an anime, with the first season premiering in April 2023, streaming on Crunchyroll. A second season followed in July 2024. The gripping narrative continues to attract fans, showcasing Seo’s talent, noted previously in works like Fuuka and Suzuka.
