Blue Box Season 2 Premiere Details
The much-anticipated second season of the anime Blue Box (Ao no Hako) is set to launch on October 4, 2026, in Japan. However, Netflix has yet to confirm a global release date.
Alongside this announcement, a promotional video was unveiled, introducing a brand-new character voiced by Yoshino Aoyama, known for her role as Hitori Gotou in Bocchi the Rock! She will portray Yumeka Kido in the upcoming season.
Changes in Production Team
Recent updates also reveal significant changes in the production team for Blue Box. The anime will now be animated by Electric Circus, taking over from Telecom Animation Film. Daisuke Sakoh has been appointed as the new series director, succeeding Yuuichirou Yano. Here’s a closer look at the updated production team:
