The official synopsis outlines:
“When the mysterious behemoth known only as Bane frees Batman’s entire Rogue’s Gallery from Arkham Asylum, the Caped Crusader is pushed to his mental and physical breaking point.”

Behind the Scenes

Historical Significance

Originally created by industry legends like Doug Moench and Chuck Dixon, the Batman: Knightfall series ranks as number 15 in IGN’s top 27 Batman comics list. Notably, elements of Knightfall inspired aspects of Christopher Nolan's film, The Dark Knight Rises, particularly the scenes featuring Bane.
