Background on Baki Franchise

Keisuke Itagaki's original Baki The Grappler manga was published from 1991 to 1999, spanning 42 volumes. The sequel series ran from 1999 to 2005. Itagaki later introduced the 37-volume Hanma Baki between 2005 and 2012. The first volume of the Baki-Dou series premiered in March 2014, concluding in April 2018.

With numerous adaptations and sequels, the Baki franchise continues to thrive, captivating audiences worldwide. The latest manga series, Baki Rahen, began its publication in August 2023.
